Marco Polo Chinese Restaurant offers home or delivery, the food for take away is cheaper than that consumed in the Restaurant because of lower overheads, the food is serviced in clear spill proof containers, the containers are also micro wave friendly useful for re-heating.

Marco Polo Restaurant is aware of the sensitive nature of the Restaurant business in particular, and the catering/ food service industry in general. As a result, and to ensure the success of its operations, Marco Polo Restaurant has ensured that the following key aspects have been addressed:

• Exceptional product branding- uniforms, name badges, menu cards, table covers, crockery and cutlery.
• Quality customer services- this is of exceptional standard with the management constantly seeking the views and opinion of customers.
• Practical opening hours- unless there is a government regulation to the effect, our opening time is adhered to. By the opening time, all activities for ensuring the preparedness of the various operations (meal pre-preparation, cleaning, cutlery setting etc) have completed.
• Clean environment- there is a checklist to ensure that all essential environment issues are properly and speedily attended to. This includes but not restricted to a clean surrounding, immediate mopping of spillages, prompt dish washing and safe disposal of refuse.
• Friendly, creative and practical menus- the menus in the Restaurant should be those that reflect the availability of the ingredients and the chef to prepare them. Menus shall be developed to minimize waste whilst, maximizing flavour.
• Consistent maintenance culture- Marco Polo has set up a program of sustained and sustainable equipment maintenance. This involves regular checks on crockery for chipped plate/ glasses, regular maintenance of cooking, distribution and storage equipment, and amortization of assets to ensure that the most technologically advanced equipment affordable is acquired.
• Professional food preparation- in addition to the menu planning, there is also an aggressive programmer to ensure that food is in prime quality- crisp salad leaves, dairy products stored at the appropriate temperatures, and dry products kept free of moisture, shall be carefully but rigidly adhered to.
